Dr. Stephanie Bonn,
BSc, BPHE, DC

is dedicated to optimizing your health and wellness through chiropractic care. Her interest in family practise began with a degree in Science and Physical & Health Education at Queen's University, where she completed a thesis on prenatal fitness. After receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, she continued to study prenatal, postnatal and pediatric care wtih the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. As an avid runner and enthusiastic mother, she integrates her knowledge and experience into her family practice in the Yaletown community.

Lisa Schuhart RMT

Lisa is a graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has been practicing massage therapy since 2006. Some highlights include volunteering at marathons, treating expecting mothers throughout their pregnancies, and working with other health professionals to aid in the rehabilitation of a client’s injury.

Lisa has a keen interest in treating issues of the upper limb and jaw as well as pre and postnatal massage, and hopes in the future to become an Osteopath.

Lisa is driven to help people and has a genuine care for everyone that visits her massage table and will do her best to make your experience the very best it can be. Lisa believes wholly in the benefits of massage not just for treating specific injuries but also for its ability, when provided on a regular basis, to aid in the prevention of an injury.

Shannon Larson BFA, R.Ac., Doula Registered Acupuncturist

Shannon holds a diploma of Dr. of Chinese Medicine from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. Her studies in Chinese Medicine include clinical practice for her Doctor of Chinese Medicine at the China Medical University and Hospital in Taiwan.

While Shannon’s interest in Chinese Medicine is wide ranging, her passion for women’s health has led her to pursue training in workshops by some of the world’s leaders in Chinese Medicine for fertility and obstetrics including Sharon Weizenbaum, Bob Flaws, Debra Betts and Jane Lyttleton. Shannon is also a member of the Acumamas team providing acupuncture during labour as well as doula services.

I love Chinese Medicine because it offers an alternative approach to treating health. It responds to the body as a whole. It sees a relationship between the health of the mind and the rest of the body rather than treating them as disconnected from one another. Acupuncture fascinates me because I am constantly amazed at the body’s own power to heal itself.

Find out how Shannon’s unique approach can help you attain optimal health in all facets of your life.

Health and well-being can be achieved only by remaining centered with one’s spirit, guarding against squandering one’s energy, maintaining the constant flow of one’s Qi and blood, and nourishing one’s self preventively.
