During
my 3rd pregnancy, I visited my chiropractor for adjustments.
I was experiencing low back pain and some tightness in my hips
and inner thighs. After the adjustments, I always felt better.
Mentally, I liked the thought that keeping my pelvis even and
balanced would make the space larger and allow the baby to
exit more easily. I'm proud to report that my baby arrived
in record time - my labour and birth were problem-free. It
was also great to have my chiropractor evaluate my baby shortly
after her birth. -

Our
daughter had been experiencing a lot of fussiness and crying
fits at night. At 2 months of age it seemed to be getting worse
and we were at our wits end. We had heard that chiropractic care
could help so we decided to give it a try. Incredible changes
happened! Our daughter improved after the first two sessions;
she is so content, doesn't overextend her neck, cries way less,
nurses better, happier and more easy going. It is so soft, gentle
and noninvasive, she breathes deeply during the sessions and
likes it. Chiropractic is amazing for children, especially babies. -

I
had a breech positioned baby and discovered that chiropractic
care could help encourage the baby to turn, naturally. Following
a few sessions of gentle chiropractic adjustments, our baby
turned to the proper head down position and were able to avoid
a C-Section! -

As
an advocate for chiropractic care, which has always been an
integral part of my life for preventative maintenance, pre/postnatal
care is a positive continuation of this based on specialized
individual treatments for the many changes associated with
pregnancy. In addition, my baby also receives monthly check-ups
to monitor her development. -

If
only I had started chiropractic care earlier! I was nervous
and didn't receive treatment until 34 weeks into my pregnancy.
I found the gentle care to relieve so much pressure. I had
been practicing yoga but I needed something extra to relieve
the pain. My chiropractor also provided treatment the day after
the birth, for the whole family. The entire chiropractic experience
was more than I could have ever expected! -

At
36 weeks of pregnancy and the baby in the breech position,
I sought chiropractic care to correct any pelvic constraints
prior to a scheduled external version. I felt a significant
opening of my pelvis as a result of 4 chiropractic sessions
using the Webster Technique and the external version was a
success! Following the version, the chiropractic helped the
baby settle well into the pelvis and I was able to have a wonderful
home birth. - Sarah
When
I was 34 weeks pregnant, I twisted my pelvic bone. I had trouble
walking and worried that this condition would affect my wish
for giving birth naturally. I went into chiropractic care which
always gave me relief. My son was born 2.5 weeks early and
I gave birth naturally without any pain medication. It took
a few more weeks of my chiropractor's care to walk normally
and without pain. Chiropractic care was very helpful for my
shoulders which hurt from holding my baby while nursing, as
well. It was also good that my chiropractor checked on my recovery
from birth on a regular basis. -

During
my 2nd pregnancy, I saw my chiropractor for adjustments. I
found the care was very helpful in alleviating a lot of back
pain and discomfort in my coccyx I was experiencing due to
the weight gain of the pregnancy. -
